Snake-a-ly I shed the skin of this former prison
Shakily I step toward the window of opportunity
As it grows
I feel a sense of trapped release
The ejection button being pushed
The excitement and fear colliding outward
A new path
A new river
A new leave
.................Falls
.....................from
........................ the
.....................tree
New to fade and die and shrivel
Ah the tree is my home
