as the blood boils
ice melts
rivers of blood crawl
and hell freezes over

in this season
as the tears rain
waves crash
ocean’s of tears stagnant
and heaven is far from earth

in this season
as the blood has been spilt
so much water flows
lands flooded and lost
and man’s global purgatory

to an end with a beginning
