The dust gathers,
An empty bed,
The dust gathers on past endeavors.
The faded wallpaper,
Stained,
The drawn curtains,
Stained by past endeavors,
The door shut,
To the world,
Trying to forget,
Past endeavors,
The memory of a child,
Past endeavors of joy,
Now shut out, stained, faded,
In a locked, empty room.
